Christine was born in Liverpool, the eldest of four and spent part of her childhood in Malaysia. She went back to Liverpool as a student and has lived in the West Country ever since. Currently living in Bradford-on Avon, she’s married with four children.<\/p>\n
Christine worked as a teacher (secondary, primary) then a Headteacher (Primary), and a lecturer at university before returning to Headship.<\/p>\n
I always worked in Interesting schools where my love of story\/poetry\/words in general were central to the school’s work, most especially with children who didn’t find learning easy.<\/em><\/p>\n She finished working in Education to focus on writing and took an MA in creative writing at Bath Spa University (2013)<\/p>\n Christine enjoys writing, reading, walking and is a carer.<\/p>\n Writing:<\/strong> Christine writes mainly poetry \u2013 about anything that she notices in life \u2013 people, conversations, situations, places and especially wild things. She is a member of The Poetry<\/em> Society<\/em> and The Society of Authors. <\/em>She would like to acknowledge the inspiration and practical support of other poets, especially Rosie Jackson and Dawn Gorman.
